Amon becomes the king of Judah

¹⁹ Amon was 22 years old when he became king. He ruled as king in Jerusalem for two years. His mother's name was Meshullemeth. She was the daughter of Haruz, who came from Jotbah. ²⁰ Amon did things that the Lord said were evil, as his father Manasseh had done.
